I miss my mom, passed over 20 years ago now. In making this fabric collaged book, I felt such warmth and tenderness reflecting on the qualities I loved about my mother.
The book measures more than 6x8" with all the lace extensions. It holds 11 decorated pages, with three pockets for you to tuck in your treasures. It also hold a sweetly decorated little lined journal for your thoughts. I used mostly vintage wedding fabrics, silks, satins, and laces. You'll also find vintage trims and appliques, along with a few newer ones I've tea dyed. Vintage images of mothers with their children were printed on cotton twill.
