Last year at this time I gifted some altered art to celebrate my 65 (!!) birthday. I loved gifting things... and I loved the comments on my blog. So, I'm gifting this little crazy quilt (or altered art) bundle of treasures. Just leave a comment, become a follower, and you're in the drawing! And, you're welcome to enter as many times as you want, just leave different comments please. I'll use the random number thingy to draw your lucky name on the New Moon, January 11th. They say the New Moon is a time for new beginnings, as is the month of January. So hopefully, this little bundle will inspire you to create something new!
Included, 8 Mother Mary sepia images printed on silk, and 12 pieces of vintage and new lace, doily, and a little bundle of vintage buttons.

ReplyDeleteYour things are beautiful. I will love following your blog. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through the Yahoo Crazy Quilt group. I know that I am going to spend a lot of time browsing.
ReplyDeleteI decided when I turned 60 that I would have no more birthdays...only days of celebrating my birth. My kids think I'm crazy when I actually have to stop and do math to figure out how old I really am.
Your give away sounds wonderful, and the laces are beautiful.

Hey, I have some of those buttons. Got them when my Mother in Law was going to throw them in the trash. I sure could use the ones in the birthday give away though.

happy birthday - and thank you for the generous giveaway

Thanks for the opportunity. It is very generous of you. You should be getting the gifts, not doing the giving, but as they say there is joy in that too. It is a great idea into the bargain.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the lovely eye-candy - one of my favourite things is lace and white/cream.
Your work is exquisite!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely giveaway! Please include me. I want to make a CQ block in memory of my granny Ida who was always crocheting. I wish I had some pieces that I could use of her work but all I have are large dresser pieces that I would never cut up. Vintage laces would be the perfect touch.
Happy Birthday to you! May you have many more years to come. I am now a follower of your blog.. Thank you for such a generous giveaway.
