Well, I finally got around to changing my blog banner to reflect some of my work. I'd love your opinion! Too busy? confusing? inspiring? what?
Please leave your comments and helpful critique. I'll draw a name
a week from today, in fact, I'll draw THREE names! And you will win one
of my Fabric/Lace Collage Tags... like one of these....
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteI love your New Header! It is my first time visiting your blog and I love all of your art. I have become a Follower of it. Can you become a Follower of mine too, please? :)
I would love to receive one of your lovely tags! Hope I am lucky!
Hugs
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIts really pretty. The only thing I would change is the color of the font. I can't make what it says out unless I zoom in. The green background washes out the white letters. Other then that, its very pretty.
Vanessa
I really like the header. The bits and pieces of art look wonderful. It makes me want to see what else is on your blog.
ReplyDeleteHI Chris
ReplyDeleteI love it the pictures, but i do agree with Vanessa. I found it really hard to read the white letters. Try using a darker colour.
I like it, Chris -- it's a tiny bit busy, but overall, very nice and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris! I love your background! So many wonderful pieces you've done!
ReplyDeleteI agree and disagree with the folks above. This font in this color IS hard to read on your background. I don't think you need to change the color though. I think a heavier font would do the trick. I suggest trying several different solutions before you pick anything permanent.
Have an artfully happy day!
Chris, I like that it shows a selection of your work. The letters stand out, both with contrast and the shadow you added. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI love it. The colors and images are great together. It is very pretty and makes me want to see more.
ReplyDeleteHi ..... I love the new banner I didn't see the old but the new one is fabulous.....
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time visiting your blog. However, I love the new header - very much a reflection of an artist who does collage.
Blessings!
